Katherine Alexandra Brunacci is a jewellery designer, goldsmith gemmologist and valuer
She launched her first collection for Gallery Fifty Four in 2010 shortly after completing her Master of Fine Arts degree majoring in Gold and Silversmithing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Katherine has won two international design awards from Milan and is now based at the Goldsmiths’ Centre London.

The Designers Perspective
‘I have always loved ancient jewellery. That an object can be thousands of years old and still be as breath-taking as when it was first made excites and inspires me in my work. The fact that I’m skilled in an ancient craft is pretty magical to me. I find this connection to Goldsmiths from the past incredible.
As with all of my jewellery I see the pieces I make as artefacts of the future. It is very meaningful to me that each piece I create is ‘one of a kind’, a personal treasure that speaks to the wearer when they discover it, and that will be handed down through the generations’
